Apple Spring Show 2022
Don’t spend your money on a new Apple computer until after the Spring Show.
If you were thinking of buying a new Apple laptop or tablet, don’t! At least not until after Apple’s 2022 Spring Show, which is rumoured to be on Tuesday, March 8th.
So far, Apple hasn’t made an official announcement, but I suspect they will any day now.
The Spring show will be another online affair so you can live-stream the event on the day.
Personally, I’m excited to see what Apple has in store. The rumour mill has been in overdrive with speculations that Apple will be releasing a bunch of new and updated products, mostly focused on the Mac line-up.
Here’s a brief overview of the rumours.
Macs
Current speculation suggests that Apple will retire the Intel-based Mac minis and replace them with a version that uses the M1 Pro and Max chip.
There was even a suggestion that Apple might use the M2 chip, which would be in keeping with Apple’s strategy of using the Mac minis as a test bed for their latest chips.
Either way, the Mac mini is still a compact powerhouse that’s a perfect desktop replacement.
